Kameh

Kameh is a Dubai-based, anonymous designer whose brand, also named Kameh, was launched in 2022. The name «Kameh» is derived from a Slavic word for stone. Their work is often described as brutalism-inspired and sculptural, blurring the lines between art and functional objects. The collections are handmade, often in collaboration with local artisans in the UAE, and utilize a variety of materials like cement-covered Styrofoam, sand, and metal. The designer’s core mission is to create timeless, functional art that allows the focus to remain on the pieces themselves, free from the scrutiny or bias that can come with a known identity.
