Pierre Bonnefille
Pierre Bonnefille (b. 1958) is a Paris-based artist and designer whose work merges fine art, decorative craft, and architecture. Educated at École Boulle and ENSAD, he creates tactile environments using mineral pigments, metal powders, and organic binders that react to light and movement. His “Bronze Paintings” and wall reliefs link ancient pigment traditions to contemporary spatial poetics, transforming matter into atmosphere. Named Maître d’Art by the French Ministry of Culture in 2010, Bonnefille has realized major commissions including Café Marly at the Louvre and a solo exhibition at the Musée Guimet. His works are held in international private and museum collections.
