Roche & Frères

Roche & Frères is a Paris-based design studio founded in 2022 by twin brothers Alexandre and Maxence Roche. Trained in interior architecture and theatrical set design, their practice explores the relationship between furniture, the body, space, and time. Inspired by the volcanic landscapes of their native Haute-Loire, they work primarily with steel, shaping it into layered and fractured forms that evoke snow, ice, and geological formations. Guided by the belief that furniture is a jewel, their pieces combine personal memory with sculptural expression and contemporary function. Their debut collection, Mémoire de glace (2024), was presented at Paris Design Week and Art Paris at the Grand Palais.
