Scarlett Rouge
Scarlett Rouge is an American-born, Fontainebleau-based artist whose interdisciplinary practice bridges sculpture, performance, video, painting, and installation. Guided by mythology, Jungian psychology, and ritual symbolism, she reconstructs archetypes to explore spirituality, femininity, and the psyche’s transformation. Her works employ ceramic, textile, pigment, and gesture to connect spirit and matter, creating therapeutic and mythic narratives that address contemporary life. Rouge’s performances extend from early collaborations in The Visiting Kids to her ongoing project LAVASCAR with Michele Lamy and Nico Vascellari. Exhibited internationally in Paris, Milan, Los Angeles, and Copenhagen, her work reimagines art as a living rite and a space for emotional and spiritual renewal.
