Victor Guedy
Victor Guedy is a French sculptor whose work merges classical stone craft with philosophical reflection. Trained through Les Compagnons du Devoir, he spent eight years refining his mastery of form, weight, and proportion before developing a contemporary sculptural language rooted in discipline and transformation. Working in stone, marble, and bronze, Guedy explores the tension between austerity and sensuality, treating matter as a medium of spiritual inquiry. His experience casting alongside artisans from Rodin’s foundry deepened his devotion to material precision. Based between Paris and the United States, Guedy collaborates with figures such as Joseph Dirand and Jacques Grange, shaping a practice defined by transcendence, craft, and quiet power.
